Radiation
Kismet collects environmental radiation data from supported Geiger counters, such as the Radiacode and Radview.
Never rely on radiation data presented by Kismet for personal safety.
Radiation sensors
Radiation data from Geiger counter datasources, such as the Radiacode and Radview.
Count and dose history is kept as RRD (round robin database) records, reporting the past 60
seconds, the past hour per minute, and the past day per hour; see the
RRD documentation. The aggregated energy spectrum is kept for the number of
samples set by geiger_spectrum_history (by default 86400).
Radiation data is also logged to the kismetdb log as RADIATION snapshots, and sent to the
eventbus.

POSTPARAMETERS
This endpoint takes additional parameters by using a `POST` request and supplying a

fields
field simplification
OPTIONALKismet can reduce the amount of information being processed and returned by an API by simplifying the fields to only return the data needed by the caller.
You can read more about the field simplification API and how to use it here.
JSON object keyed by datasource UUID, of sensor records:
| Field | Content |
|---|---|
radiation.sensor.type | Sensor type, Radview or Radiacode |
radiation.sensor.datasource | Datasource record |
radiation.sensor.cps_rrd | RRD of counts per second |
radiation.sensor.usv_rrd | RRD of dose rate, in microsieverts per hour, for sensors which report it |
radiation.sensor.aggregate_spectrum | Aggregated energy spectrum, for sensors which report it |
radiation.sensor.aggregate_spectrum_start | Timestamp of the first spectrum sample |
radiation.sensor.aggregate_spectrum_end | Timestamp of the last spectrum sample |
